FAQ: Shopping PDF Print E-mail

Q: Does the Restore accept personal checks?
A:
No. The store gladly accepts cash, credit, and debit, but no checks.

Q: Can I return an item I bought?
A:
All sales are final. However, appliances and electronics only can be returned within 14 days, with the original receipt.

Q: I found an item I like but it's too big to take home today. Can I still buy it?
A:
Only purchased items too large to fit into the customer's vehicle (as determined by the ReStore staff) will be placed in the ReStore holding area for customer pickup. Items will remain on hold for four (4) business days. At the end of business on the 4th day, unclaimed purchased items will be considered donated to the ReStore and returned to the ReStore sales floor to be available for purchase. No refunds or exchanges will be given for purchased items left on hold for more than four days.

Q: Can I place an item on hold or layaway?
A:
Items not purchased but tagged as HOLD will only remain on hold for ONE HOUR.

Q: How are the items priced?
A:
All items are priced between 50% - 90% (and sometimes more!) of the retail value. We try to do research online to make sure the prices are low but fair.

Q: Is the ReStore open to the public?
A: Yes! Check out our Location and Hours page for more information

Q: Where do the proceeds from the sales go?
A:
All of the proceeds go directly to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Stark and Carroll Counties, to build homes with low-income families in the Stark and Carroll counties area. Visit the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Stark and Carroll Counties website for more information.
